Sometimes I think that the idea of a veteran, and what these folks have done for us and our country, is an abstract thing for those who have not gone through the same experiences. When I came across this short animated film from Rauch Brothers Animation, the abstract became all too real. The animation recreates World War II veteran Joseph Robertson’s story of having no choice in doing what he did, and the emotional toll it took. The film is little more than 2 minutes long. Take a look at the link below, and be thankful for all our veterans have gone through for each of us.
