And one of the great joys of working in the creative field is when you get to help other folks who are creative in their own area, and in this case we’re talking about musicians. And it seems we’ve been helping bands and solo artists a lot lately. Marketing28 has already posted about The Adoring Heirs’ new release “Empty Faces” that we designed a while back. You can pick it up from eMusic or iTunes, or at one of the band shows around town if you live in the St. Louis area.
Then came the CD design for blues guitarist Joe Alford, with the concept and initial designs by our wonderful intern, Wil Mowrey (We miss you Wil!).
And now, two releases from TimO, the guitarist from The Adoring Heirs, The Glare of Day, and the late, lamented Fragile Porcelain Mice. TimO also has a podcast called “The TimO and Harley Show” that blends a healthy dose of horror film talk with indie rock. TimO and Harley will be at Scarefest in Lexington, KY on November 5-7, and you can pick up his releases there. We are assuming you’ll be able to eventually download these fine offerings from the major online retailers soon.
Maybe we shouldn’t be letting the cat out of the bag on the last release shown here, but we’re too excited to not share “Greasy Side Down” by The BOB Band. This one is still being mastered, but should be out in time to make a great stocking stuffer.
Who’s next? We’d love to help you make your musical release look as good as it sounds. Contact Marketing28 here. We’re ready to listen.
